Madison Sanders is a wife, a mother of 2 young boys, an event professional and a leader within Beautycounter’s movement for safer skincare and cosmetics.
She established her namesake company - Madison Sanders Events - in 2014 with a desire to serve couples with the best in wedding planning and event design. She is known for her Romantic, Timeless and Refined aesthetic and encourages her clients to prioritize components of the event that best reflect their personal tastes. Madison holds dear to strong marriages, the legacy of family and good ol' Southern hospitality.
Her journey with cleaner and safer personal care products began in 2017 when she found out that she was pregnant with her oldest son. At the suggestion of her esthetician, she discarded all of her high-performing skincare products — the ingredients in this line of skincare were not deemed safe while pregnant. This discovery triggered further exploration into what ingredients were included in products throughout her home. She also began to look closer at regulation, or lack thereof, in the United States’ personal care industry as a whole.
Through this exploration and continuous personal research, her eyes were opened to the potentially harmful affects of many standard personal care products and their accumulative affect on human health. An introduction to Beautycounter’s mission for cleaner and safer products for all gave her confidence in using a brand known, not only for high-performance but for rigorous safety standards and a push for legislative reform.
After much hesitation (mostly based on unfounded beliefs about the direct sales model), she accepted an invitation to join forces with other safer beauty advocates nationwide in 2018. Since that time, she has built a team of men and women passionate about presenting cleaner and safer options to those the love in an authentic, honest and educational way.
While she thrives on the opportunity to collaborate with her clients and creative partners to create memorable events AND she loves mentoring and building lucrative business with her Beautycounter teammates, Madison considers her greatest adventure to be the life she is building with her husband, Bret, in the suburbs of Kansas City.
